Moving Forward from the Election – Training Opportunity

As the votes continue to be counted, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are on track to win more than 270 electoral votes and become President and Vice President of the United States. This is thanks in large part to all of the work union members, and our partners have done to engage and mobilize workers in this election. In addition to our election work, we have all been working to ensure that we count every vote and we have seen the success of our efforts across the country.

But once we get the Biden/Harris ticket into office, we must rebuild this country better that affords more opportunity for all of us.  To do that, the Labor Council will be offering a training on Saturday November 14th at 9:30 AM titled, “Building Solidarity through Anti-Racism Training”. The training will be conducted by nationally renowned union trainer Elise Bryant, who is the Executive Director of the Labor Heritage Foundation as well as President of the Coalition of Labor Union Women.  She has done a version of this training for International Unions, but is going to offer it to use right here in the Greater Syracuse Labor Council!

If you are interested in this training, please register with Wendy Colucci @ 315-383-2712 or wendy@cnylabor.org to receive the zoom link for this virtual event.

Please direct any questions to President Spadafore on the training.  Thank you all.
